Founded in 1978, Extech Electronics is the first variable frequency power supply manufacturer in Taiwan, and is the first ever test instrument brand awarded with TUV/GS safety certification. In 2003, EEC has joined to the global leading safety brand Ikonix in recognition of its excellent products, services, and innovations. In 2015, EEC was honored to accept UL STP (Standard Technical Panel) invitation and become the FIRST testing solution provider in Asia who joins it. EEC is keen to satisfy clients with seamless safety solution, through actively participating UL standard defining & revision, and providing professional electrical consultancy.
Over the past thirty years, EEC has released products that are being awarded among the best. For example, the 7-in-1 TFT LCD composite analyzer ESA has won the Taiwan Excellence Award in 2012 and the capacitive-type touch-screen tester SE was the winner of Taiwan Excellence Award in 2015. EEC launched its Quality Extension Plan in 2011, moving one step ahead of its competitors to extend warranty periods (3 years for flagship products and 2 years for general products). With the Quality Extension Plan, EEC becomes the most reliable choice for customers.
In 2015, Extech Electronics changed its Corporate Identity System, which had been in use for 37 years, to EEC and updated its logo accordingly. EEC is the abbreviation of EXTECH Electronics Co. Ltd., pronounced as e-e-c, and written in lowercase to signify the willingness to share its success with customers. The new logo is designed as a graceful arc with ee side by side, implying consultative services, professionalism, experience, as well as the partnership with customers.
